Then cry it's "class warfare" when someone points it out!

The problem with this is that way too many people who make a mere $50k or even $150k a year think that they are one of those "wealthy" people.

They think they're one lottery ticket away, or one more cost-of-living raise away from really making it.

Little do they know that financially-speaking they are far, far closer to that homeless guy out in the streets than the truly wealthy in this country.

Jeff Bezos makes $4,000,000 per hour.

That's far more wealth than most of us will ever see in our lifetime, and he makes that in 60 minutes. Hell, many financial advisers tell their clients to try retiring with $1 million so they can be decently financially secure. That's after scrimping and saving for some 40 years of hard work to be able to have that as your nest egg. Bezos makes that much in 15 minutes.

But far too many Americans think that if they too put in an extra couple of hours in at work, or if they take on another part time job, that they too will be considered rich.

The replies in this thread are so depressing.

The corporate media brainwashing doing its job.

News flash, almost nobody defending the status quo is ever gonna get rich, the system isnt designed to make the poor wealthy, it's designed to make the wealthy wealthier, concentrating more and more of the worlds wealth in ever fewer people.

The money isnt moving down, its moving up.
