This doesn't compare, but once they didn't return a power adapter to my monitor.
You can't just buy a power adapter for a specific monitor in a foreign country at some store, or even domestically. I don't suspect theft, just laziness or incompetence.
TSA inspections of luggage should be viewable by the public.
In 2017, I went to a natural products expo in Anaheim (Expo West). I came back with four suit cases of samples and brochures, price lists etc. because we're so far away from the mainland, we needed to bring in as many samples as possible.
I live in the western pacific. Left LA, connected in Hawaii and landed on Guam. Went to the baggage claim and see one of my suit cases standing upright on the floor. Red liquid flowing out of it. The idiots opened up all my fruit juice samples and left some loose. Ruined all my documents and samples in that bag.
Now I leave a big sharpie note.
PLEASE CLOSE ALL CONTAINERS TIGHTLY (last time you searched through my samples, you ruined them all).
