Whether the Netflix shows remain canon or Feige decides to reboot Daredevil, I hope Vincent D'Onofrio is kept as Kingpin much like J.K. Simmons as J. Jonah Jameson.
I wholeheartedly agree. If Feige does reintroduce Daredevil and Kingpin I hope that they atleast offer the role of Kingpin to D'onofrio and Daredevil to Cox. They are both perfect casts for their role and it feels wrong to throw away 2 perfectly good castings with a large following.
If they offer the roles and they turn it down then that's fine I'm OK with recasting then. But a pure reboot I feel is unnecessary and a waste of 4 seasons of great TV, well 2 outstanding (S1&S3) , 1 very good (S2) and 1 good season (defenders).
When it comes to the rest of the NetflixMCU cast I have no particular feelings. Daredevil and Luke cage are the only 2 I can see transitioning from TV to movie, as they are. And they are the only 2 i could see in a new avengers lineup, let's face it if they introduced them it'll be either a cameo or a full spot similar to Hawkeye was.
I agree, keep Cox as Daredevil and D’Onofrio as Kingpin. I feel that Jon Bernthal as the Punisher should be added to this list. His portrayal of the character was great. While not necessary, I would hope they remain with the actors for Foggy and Karen. The characters had great chemistry between each other and it would be ashame to see that be thrown out.
