I put in notice for leave off for my Residency in April...April and these people looked at me and said, "You're finding your own coverage, though, right?" When I said "No.", they told me, "Well, it's company policy that you set up your own coverage accordingly when taking days off."

I'll have a new job lined up by the end of the month. Fuck these people, fuck these jobs.

I tried to call in sick one day and my boss kept guilting me to come to work, despite me telling her that it’s not a good idea for me to be there or around people. I got tired of trying to argue and showed up to work anyway. 25-30 minutes in I threw up in front of the same boss. I looked at her and said, “I’m going back home now and I’m not cleaning that up” and walked off. Because I had already clocked-in, by company policy, I qualified for half-day pay since I legitimately had to go home for being sick. In the end, it cost the company more money for trying to get me to come in than letting me stay at home.
