I once had the opportunity to hold a tungsten bar. It was about 20cm long, 3cm in diameter, looked just the right size to hold in your hand. It was mind boggling... it felt like there was an invisible rope pulling it downwards... i struggled to pass it over with my arm stretched out, girls were holding it with both hands.. I can’t recall the exact weight of it but it felt like black magic.

For comparison, an ordinary red clay brick is about 5 pounds (2¼ kg)
Lead bricks are a lot heavier than you'd guess just by looking.
