I once picked up my clothes from the dry cleaners and the owner pulled out a Zip lock bag from one of the pockets. Apparently I had a $20 in my coat and he gave it back. I continue to go to this same dry cleaner because that’s amazing.
when I was a service advisor we had a subaru wagon come in for diagnostics on tail lights not working. I gave it to a tech and he comes back in 5 minutes later and said the fuse is missing.
not blown, missing.
smelling a set up we tossed a new fuse in free of charge and sent them on their way.
sure as shit a week later on the news it was one of those undercover "stings" where they try and catch shady shops being shady.
