Out of curiosity, when someone in the U.S. buys a school bus like this and actually picks up kids, like this grandpa picks up his grandchildren, is other traffic still obliged to stop like they do with official school buses when he lets them in?

I always wanted to get a short bus but make it a sleeper with like 1000 hp and great suspension so that I could dust all the ricers.
