I am currently learning python and decided to do something with it.
I downloaded all the movie transcripts (and subtitle file for some movies) and used my program to count the number of words and stored it in a csv file.
I used excel to prepare the bar graph.
Edit:
fuck includes -->fuck, fucked, fucker, fucking.
Realised I left out death proof.
Edit 2: Also realised I left out inglourious basterds
Observation : Observed that 'fucking' is the most common form of fuck used in tarantino movies.
I was curious if there was an obvious correlation between the number of swear words and Samuel L. Jackson in the cast... but it doesn't seem to be so easy. "Motherfucker" seems to be more common in movies with him and the n-word is used nearly exclusively in movies with him:
