That’s a Malamute. Malamutes are sled dogs, so they were bred to get along with everyone. I mean, imagine if your car was territorial. You wouldn’t get very far.
People do buy them as guard dogs thinking (wrongly) “Hey they’re really big, so they’ll do great! (They won’t.) My parents dog was owned by some meth heads and was chained up outside their trailer before he was rescued and rehabilitated by Texas Alaskan Malamute Rescue. Then we adopted him and he’s been the goodest, silliest boy for the last 8 years or so.
