Her name is Aoy and Rice Paddy is the name of her restaurant in Marquette, MI. I went to school there and make it a mission to get food there when I’m visiting. Aoy is an absolute saint who donates most of the money she makes to her village in Thailand, buying them food and supplies, and even paying for computers for the school kids. This woman and her business, are amazing.
Also, she really does talk like that. She’s hilarious. Even calls everybody Boyfriend or Girlfriend.

This lady is so fucking awesome. She always calls people "boyfriend" or "girlfriend" which new people find disturbing or hilarious, I love it.
