I went through basic training and we're only given a couple minutes to lick a biscuit and get the @#$% out of the dining facility. If you don't finish your food that's on you, so you learn to eat fast. Without thinking I adopted this way of eating my banana with peanut butter. One of the instructors saw me and screamed to my instructor, "Technical Sergeant Johnson, one of your trainees is eating a banana with a SPOOOOON!" Sergeant Johnson came quick saying, "who the @#$% is that? YOU CRAZY-ASS!" Me sitting there with two bewildered/angry miltary training instructors in front of me while I'm spooning my banana in my mouth was one of the most internally funny things that's happened to me. I had to save the laugh for later.
