Printers are actually only around for the producer to print money. They tell you ink is empty when its not, they require all ink to be full regardless of what your printing, and will use cyan when printing black and white to make a "truer black"
Buy a laser printer. If you absolutely need a color laser machine? set up 2 drivers on your computer: one for B&W and one for Color. All it does is save time but it is muuuuch less annoying than changing it every time you want whatever the opposite of your default is set to.

I had a friend who would buy a whole new printer instead of new ink and it would still be cheaper
