I guess it would've been ridiculous for them to damage a life-sized Tumbler for this small scene, but I never would've guessed they did it with miniature cars either...

Nolan loves miniatures. A lot of the stuff in Interstellar was miniature as well.

Damn I would’ve guessed that was just really good CGI.
Either way doesn’t answer the question of whether or not Batman killed the garbage truck driver when he slammed into the top of the tunnel at 100 mph.
