Americans are so against anything that could be associated, even remotely, with socialism and communism that they prefer let their people die or go bankrupt over simple medical expense than just even slightly change their capitalistic values!
As long as this country will glorify capitalism, and its associated moral values, then story like that one will continue to happen! When will USA start to value life over money?
