When I first heard about cancelling tuiton fees or wiping out student debt a little bit of me flashed in anger 'I had to pay them back over 30k and now everyone else is just getting it for FREE??! It seemed so unfair to me.
But then I remembered that really I was treated unfairly in the first place by the predatory system and I shouldn't want to stop people fixing it now just because I had to suffer through it.

Following the same logic, if a cancer vaccine were to be created we shouldn't allow it because some people had to beat cancer the old fashioned way
