My employer, like most, has a 'use it or lose it' policy, so this couldn't happen to the majority of us. I wonder how many years would she had to work to accumulate 250 days, and I also wonder if she took any vacations ever and this was just what she didn't get around to using.

The lady at my job had so many days they forced her to work half days for six months. 270 hours of leave and 200 of sick.
