I’ve been to that castle!!!

Completely forgot what it was called. Thanks for reminding me!

What’s really cool is that it’s pretty much on the one big hill in the area. Very defensible, easy to see incoming enemies.

How did these even get built? Like I understand the owners were possibly nobility to build castles, so obviously had a lot of funds and available labour, but the logistics of it still baffle me.

Fun fact: the Hohenzollerns were the ruling family in Prussia for 100s of years, the second longest lasting monarchy in eastern Europe after the Romanovs.
