PSA Tennis balls can file a dog's teeth down with repeated long play periods. If your dog loves the ball use a rubber or plastic ball instead. The fibers on the tennis ball work sort of like a nail file on their fang teeth if they can get the whole ball behind them and make a habit of squeezing it in their bite. My dog filed hers off like a pencil eraser before I took her to the vet took one look at her teeth and told me to use a different type ball. She's no worse for wear but save your pupps teeth and find a new ball.. she'd like that.
