I pick up more of the plot when using subtitles. Also, there's a helluva lot of marble mouths on TV.

I wouldn't have to turn on subtitles if the fucking dialogue wasn't so quiet compared to the rest of the show / movie.

I don't mind subtitles anymore. I'm around a lot of people who have English as their second language so they're just always on because it's helpful.
