Wow! Such a clean shot! Did you have a remote camera near the pad or just a really good telephoto?

Never getting tired of these ultra fast shutter images. What was it shot on though, I’m imagining you’re not that close to the subject. Is it a 600mm or something to that extend?

Here’s my full gallery of photographs from yesterday’s Antares rocket launch from Wallops Island, Virginia.

I set up five cameras around the pad to capture various views of the mission. They were activated by the sound of the rocket as it lifted off to deliver cargo to the International Space Station. This specific shot was captured with a Nikon D500 and Tamron 150-600mm lens.
