The point of assignments like this in college isnt the content, it's the structure, detail and effort behind the presentation.
Speech classes let you pick what you want to talk about all the time ... as long as it's thoroughly researched and well presented - AND you're able to take a Q&A from the class afterwards challenging your conclusions.
