My parents used to do stuff like this to me when I was in high school. I was exceptionally “forgetful” and used to “forget” that my phone was in my pocket while I did laundry.
Every time I see post like this about GPSing your kids phone I think about that episode of black mirror where the mom has that chip implanted in her daughters head and she can see and hear everything her daughter does on a tablet and can track her location. Then later on when the kid grows into a teenager she turns the tablet on while her daughter is having sex and is horrified. Just waiting for shit like that to happen.
