After 500hrs of work and handcarving and handpainting over 500 pieces for the wings alone, I finally finished my dream cosplay. Valkyrie Kara from God of War.

A few answers to questions that might surface.

The wings are static and not articulating. I get through doors by taking them off. I need someone to help me mount them. They can be disassembled into 4 pieces. They weigh around 15kg (not 100% sure) and I can only wear them for an hour before my back is sore. The wings consist of 500 pieces excat. Each piece had to be crafted 4 times, because the backside looks excatly like the front.

Working time was around 4 months. I already made another Valkyrie before, so I was a bit faster on this one. Cost around 500€.

You transcended from ‘You’re a fucking nut job for putting in that much work’ to ‘that is an amazing piece of art’.

Don’t tell me you’re not a professional prop maker.
