It always amazes me how selective breeding over time can modify species to such extent. I think a lot of people would want to put their hands on those seeds.

My dad is an avocado farmer, and he has a variety called "bayshore" that is a similar shape, but not nearly that long. Usually 1' max. They are excellent avos, very buttery.
