Nice idea, but if a lens cloth cloth isn't sealed in a package it tends to pick up grit that can scratch your lenses.

If you launder your clothes with fabric softener this will not clean your glasses well.

A lot of ski gloves have that stitched on the thumb, so you don't have to remove your gloves to wipe your goggles.
