My nana (from wisconsin, on the right). Her sister came to visit from California. They were always very close. They both showed up wearing the same exact shirt.
My mom was put up for adoption immediately after she was born. In her thirties, she found her biological mother. She was living on the other side of the country. I was two at the time and my sister was a few months old, but we hopped on a plane and flew out to meet her. When we got to her house, she had the same exact beige canvas sofa cover with a red watercolor floral pattern that we had in our living room. They had never even met, but still had the same taste :)
This Is my mom Blanche (right). she passed away January 11th of this year (2019) she raised 9 children, I don't know how she did it and came out the other end normal lol she was a great nana and even better O' nana. she loved to play canasta, yahtzee & marbles. on this trip where they wore the same shirt,, they played yahtzee and mom got 4 yahtzees in one game. Aunt Virginia said if she wasn't here to witness that she'd never believe it. They never said Goodbye to one another it was something like "I'll see you again. I Love them both and are dearly missed.
