I just assume that anybody who calls or texts just knows my birthday from facebook and I assume that everybody I call or text knows that I only know their birthday from facebook. But the call or text is still a nice extra effort that I think means a lot.

I removed my birth date from my FB profile because I don’t care if acquaintances remember my birthday.

Do you one better. When you see a bday pop up on Facebook and you truly care about them. Put it in your phone calendar.
