The day I got my hearing aids, I spent an hour in the kitchen trying to figure out who was making the consistent knocking noise. I finally figured out it was the wall clock. 🕡
Slightly related. My boyfriend is red/green colorblind. I got him some corrective glasses and it was absolutely adorable to watch him run around the house examining all the colors. He looked out the window at a tulip in the flower bed, and said, "Is that red?! That's red! It's so pretty!" Then turned to me and says, "Honey?" I already knew what he was gonna ask. "You want me to take you to town to see the lights, don't you?" I asked him. He shook his head more enthusiastically than I ever did when my dad asked if I wanted to go to the toy store when I was a little kid. When I went to get my truck washed and he saw the tricolor foam, he looked at me and said, "I think I'm gonna cry."
