Unfortunately it smells and (urgh) feels like spit. Nobody has been in the house, and I was the first one in the room (carrying my sleepy 3 year old) when I noticed it. She’ll be sleeping in her sisters room tonight until I can give her bedroom a full disinfecting tomorrow!

do you have cats? My cat sometimes spit something just like that, same size/aspect.

If it is spit it would dissolve into a wet spot in just a few minutes. So tell us, did it?
