In the Truman Show, we see Truman taking high dose vitamin D at breakfast time. This is to counteract the deficiency he would have becouse there is no real sunlight in the constructed world he inhabits.
To all the people complaining about the dosage being so low...
Isn’t it possible the studio falsely claimed the low dose on the bottle as to not tip off the complete lack of sunlight? The pills could actually have 100 times the amount shown on the bottle if that’s what Truman needed.
In his world where 100% of everything is fake why suddenly does the label have to be accurate?
