I'm an adult woman with small feet and as such can wear kid shoes. Last night I was wearing my light up unicorn high tops (like these ones but in grey) . As I walked by a family I heard the little girl gasp to her mom, "Is that a grown up wearing light up shoes?!" Well first of all I resent your assumption that I'm grown up, but yes, I am living the dream.

Kids would step on each other’s new shoes to “baptize” them when I was young.
Not sure if that used to be a thing in other places, but I always thought that it was stupid.
