I always love how different fuels have such dramatically different color in these well exposed photos. With the eye and on video it's often, "bright as the sun egad look away!"

Man you really nailed the contrast here, the way you were able to capture the details in the flames while still grabbing context of the rocket and its surrounding is outstanding.

This photo was taken with a sound-activated Nikon D7500 and Nikon 55-300mm lens placed 500 feet from the Atlas V rocket that launched the AEHF-5 satellite for the U.S. Air Force on August 8th, 2019. I’m able to place cameras at active launch sites as a working member of the press.
