Husband is a welder, and we used to have this problem. He was always more tired. One day I finally had enough. “I’m not trying to upstage you, or make you feel like I don’t know that you’re tired. I just want someone to listen to me when I say I’m tired, even if it’s not as much as them!”
And he finally got it. Maybe she feels upstaged or whatever.
I notice that, to some people, life is one giant contest or race. On the road when zipper merging or when you say you’re tired ... it’s always followed by “oh yeah well....”
