It's one of the most well preserved battle sites. Both because it's a known spot and because it wasn't looted too much after the battle because of the heat.

A bit of history: the army of Gotland consisted of mainly peasants and some mercs. The Danish army consisted of professional soldiers. Many of them were mercenaries from Germany and naturally from Denmark as well. The army Gotland got slaughtered with huge casualties while the Danish army lost 200-300. (Iirc).

I can recommend Bazbattles on YouTube who can explain the battle pretty well.

Edit: while we are at it, also check out Kings And Generals who also do a great job of explaining battles.
