I would rather have an immigrant as a neighbor, than a trump supporter. At least for the remainder of my life I will know exactly what kind of person I'm dealing with, based on their support of trump.
seriously. the hypocrisy inherent in the racists chanting 'if you don't like it, get out' - they're the ones who can't handle that america is and has always been a melting pot, and has never been a 'white' nor 'christian' nation. the founding fathers were quite explicit about that. (well, the 'not being a religious country' thing. - it took us longer to cut out the main blatant official racism, and now we're still rooting out the insidious bullshit.... goddammit I'm so tired of this timeline, I forgot what I was talking about.)
