My wife is an immigrant from the us, ( you guys call them expats) and when she confronts these idiots ( we've got them too over here, it's universal) they allways say "yes, but you're one of the good kind" and then we know never to talk to that person again
I'm a Canadian living as a permanent resident in the United States. I'm white, I sound North American. But telling ONE of us to go back to where we come from is telling ALL of us to go back, making us ALL feel unwelcomed.

I'm American born, and have lived in the UK for 5 years thanks to my Polish citizenship.
It's amazing how many people have complained about EU immigrants in the UK to me.
