I was 11. I along with the rest of America was entirely in awe of every moment of their trip. We counted every second to lift off.. to the landing ...and recovery. I remember how each paper reporting the Apollo 11 flight were coveted and saved and hard to come by! It was one of the most amazing events of my lifetime!

I was 6 and I remember my father taking pictures of the tv screen as it happened. It was completely compelling and captivates me too.
