I think it’s mostly collectors that buy both copies and people that just have a be money to spend who want to experience both, despite the few differences there are.
I just hope there isn’t an ultra sword, ultra shield released, and maybe with the backlashed received they’ll update the base game with content. I doubt they’ll do it but I don’t intend on buying essentially the same exact game twice.

Also, not allowing multiple save files like every other RPG so that you can't share with a sibling.
