I live in New York and would see him all the time when I used to wait tables in Chelsea market. The 2nd floor is most of the Food Network so we got lots of celebrities. He usually came in once or twice a month. He's really friendly. I didn't realize how beautiful his family was until I served them.
Edit: I also saw him walking his dog once in the Bowery and screamed out, "DINKLAAAGE!" and he waved at me then gave me the finger. The man is a treasure.
