Thanks for the kind words everyone. This is from my chase this year. We traveled from La Junta, CO the day before to watch this supercell thunderstorm as it went up just north of Greensburg, KS and slowly drifted south towards Coldwater, KS. I was fortunate to catch this bolt by hand and pure luck, as my lightning trigger died the prior day (the first day of my stormchasing trip...go figure). Taken with Sony a7riii and Sony 16-35 f/2.8 GM.

I miss Kansas and thunderstorms now that I live somewhere with few. There is something surreal and beautiful about them.
