Okay I worked at a Fireworks stand and these boys kept coming back to get more fireworks. They said they needed them for a “war”. That’s okay whatever it’s not my business but you have to be 16 to buy them and they were at most 12. So, the first time they came with there mom and so it was okay. The second time, they came with an older friend who could pass as sixteen so I was like whatever here’s your fireworks. They came a second time, just four 12 year old kids wanting fireworks. They ask for some smoke bombs and I tell them they have to be sixteen. All of them looked at each other and one spoke up saying he was sixteen. The look that gecko has on his face is the exact look I gave the kid when he said that. I asked for ID and they all sheepishly looked down and said no then scurried away. Sorry for the monologue but it’s Fourth of July and I felt like sharing.
I had this wonderful band director in middle school and he'd always say something along the lines of, "now, imagine the two brain cells you have hitting each other at this tempo-- tic, tic, tic.
