I feel like is Steam is kinda in a lose lose situation. People want it to be open and allow devs to get their games on there easily, but also want it curated so trash doesn't get on it. But they get so many submissions every day it must be impossible to curate them all.
Edit: I absolutely think Steam needs curation, even if just to keep shitty asset flips off. they could afford to hire a team to shift through the submissions.
