I work in a call centre for a bank and get at least 20 of these calls a week only wondering if it's a scam after they've done it. Also had a friend break the heart of a 70 year old woman who was told by a random person claiming to be from her ISP that claimed to have deposited 20K into her account by mistake, but her or the bank wouldn't be able to see it, and if she would be nice enough to make 5 payments of 2k each to different accounts, she could keep the other 10k for being a good person. To say he had a long call and needed to take a moment after it was an understatement

Kinda weird, they also ask for me to send them $100 a week for a year. I’m still waiting for my Mercedes to show up in a lil bit...
