So my dad tells a story of a hero who acted in a situation like this. On a crowded commuter train a woman had placed her hat on a seat while loads of people were standing. The hero of this story, evidently pissed off with this, picks the hat up, places it on the luggage rack and sits down. This pissed the woman off to no end and goes onto berate him, saying something along the lines of "excuse me, my hat was there!", To which he responds "Oh! I'm so sorry I'll put it back"
Promptly, he stands up, picks up the hat, puts it back on the seat and then proceeds to sit on it. I'm told the bitch shouted at him till he got off and he just sat and read his paper with a smile.
