Typically, I would have a "regular"/normal family who lived in the main house, but sometimes would also make a save that had two folks who I would leave in a windowless, doorless room that they could not escape (basically a dungeon) with the worst rated furniture and appliances.

First time I played I made a Sim and I want him to cook. Burned the house down. I went and decided to have him spend his free time learning to cook. Everything was going well. Got maximum level for cooking. Even was ready to try to get him a chef job. First meal after final leveling I had him cook. Burned the house down faster. Never touched the game again.

I’ve done this a few times. Lived as close to my real life as a possibly could. Always ended up fat and depressed. Well, shit.
