When I was moving out of my apartment this new company had just bought the place and was fixing it up for the first time since it was built in the 60s. They were gouging people for money and being petty.
I was moving out at the end of December but my lease was a lease from old management / owner. So I didn't have the same guidelines as everyone else. They all re signed and I didn't. My lease gave me longer to pay rent than everyone else and I was sick of the manager being petty. So I paid that shit at the last minute every month. She had been trying to charge me late fees and stick me to rules / stipulations in their new version of the leases but mine was good. i was actually breaking it early too so I had all the time in the world.
Telling me I owed late fees on stuff and I just made a copy of my lease and highlighted all the shit. Not today. I ain't liable for shit.
