Started the HBO show, which is really good. And after seeing this post, I'm even more impressed that they recreated this scene so well.

If this type of stuff interests you, I suggest Atomic Accidents by James Mahaffey. It goes over pretty much every accident that has a public record, whether its nuclear energy or weapons. Obviously, this accident is included. It's a good read.
