Reminds me of what astronaut Michael Collins had to say while orbiting the moon alone during the Apollo 11 mission:

As the command module drifted behind the moon, however, cutting off his communication with Earth, he wrote:

”I am alone now, truly alone, and absolutely isolated from any known life. I am it. If a count were taken, the score would be three billion plus two over on the other side of the moon, and one plus God knows what on this side."

I have seen the ISS fly over 3 times in the last week. Never gets old watching it traverse the sky. If you've never seen it Google NASA's spot the station and find out when it's visible to u. Well worth it and it viewed with the naked eye, nothing required.
