He made it to 14 years, google says average is 15 so I don't think Sparky did too bad. Totally tanked that hit though, left him with like 1 HP and he was still standing. Article said they found an elk struck the year before (2012) and the elk didn't survive it.
Also, he fathered 3 calves before that anyways. Sparky was a main.
