Man, I'm not even American and I can see people in this thread missing the point hard. Florida isn't some third world cesspit with no government, law or a single decent human being. It's a part of America where wild and unusual stuff happens regularly enough that when you're told it happened in Florida you kinda just go "Oh, right.".
Whenever somebody tries to sue McDonalds because they have hemorrhoids from being perpetually constipated, or a politician becomes a meme because he retweeted porn, or if somebody shoots somebody else over a debate about chicken tendies vs nuggets -- the rest of the world can pretty safely assume it happened in America.
